Call for Abstracts
Call for abstracts are now closed.
We had a significant amount of interest and have selected 20 high profile posters from young engineers to display. The selection process of identifying two young engineer speakers is in progress.

At least one author must be attending the YEA National Summit for the submission to be considered. Accepted submissions will be exhibited for a full day at the YEA National Summit, however, the author will not be required to stand by their display unless they wish to do so. The applicant must advise if they require assistance to set up their display.
Poster submissions must be no larger than A1 size. Models and other displays can be catered for by request. Displays must be set up by the applicant no later than 8:00am on the day of the Summit.
Submissions were inspired by the Summit theme 'Universal Engineer' and include:
- Unusual research and new technologies
- Working overseas as an engineer
- Engineering in the community / volunteering
- Non-traditional engineering (eg. engineering graduates doing something different)
- Being an entrepreneur (eg. owning a business, developing a new product)
- An engineering project you were involved with
- Challenges facing young engineers
Creativity is encouraged – do not let the prompts constrain your ideas!
Please note that all submissions must be related to engineering in some way.
